I'm wondering what the point of the beavertail was as well. Are you getting slide bite? You shouldn't if you're using a proper grip.
I have a suggestion... if you want to spend money on gun stuff, spend it on ammo, training and range time. No amount of tacticool add-on crap will help you shoot better if you haven't mastered the basics and aren't practicing regularly.

very true. sights are about as far as I'd ever go, especially with a carry gun. That mag well is designed for competition shooters who reload at the speed of light and need that extra wide opening to funnel the mag into the gun ASAP. It has no place on a gun that's to be carried for self defense.
The G19's grip is pretty close in size to my M&P compact with the factory grip extension and I can
just fit my pinky on the end of it. It's comfortable once gripped but while drawing quickly sometimes my fingers feel a little crowded. That's just the way it is with a compact gun. It's pretty much one or the other - comfort and perfect grip vs. concealability and a bit crowded/sloppy grip.
CN -If you're interested in getting more grip room, look into magazine extensions like these --> (
link) Some are made to just extend the grip and others add +2 to the mag capacity. Some even allow you to comfortably use the larger G17 mags in the G19. Personally I feel that it's kind of pointless to have a compact gun with the full size mag attached. It kind of defeats the purpose of having a compact gun in the first place.

Same here. I shot one a few weeks ago and I loved it, but the laser is crap. If they made a laser-less one I'd buy it tomorrow.
