Basically, I left work tonight & was REALLY getting on it. Definitely over the limit.
I went past a lot with some friends hanging out & they called me to come back. So I turned around through another lot to get back to them.
I'm there for 10 seconds & an off duty officer pulls up in an old white Ford Taurus. He said that they're driving around in cars that were impounded looking for that sort of thing.
I'm officially panicked.
He took my license & reg. & asked if I had any points on my license. I told him I didn't & he said I'd most likely have it suspended anyway.
He didn't ask for my insurance card, which surprised me.
After he ripped me a new asshole (well deserved, I still can't believe how stupid I was

) I asked if he would please hear me out for a moment & he did.
I told him I know how bad I screwed up & asked for him to be lenient if he could. That if I lose my license, I lose my job & that we're having a baby in September. Then I said how much more of an idiot I feel like knowing those things & doing what I did.
He said "I'll see what I can do" & left.
I'm not making excuses here, if I lose my license I 100% deserve it. I just want to know if any of the TST officers think that he may have just been scaring the crap out of me to teach me a well deserved lesson, or if I'm pretty much screwed because I pulled a stupid stunt.
