A friend of mine just blew a head gasket in his 00 Integra with 70k. He got a quote of $1,700 for the motor and $1,100 for labor. I'm sure he would be able to find a cheaper price somewhere else. Would it be cheaper for him to sell the car as is and go with another ride or fix it? If he did sell it, how much do you think he would able to get for it with the blown motor? He's looking to see if he could get $5k for it as is.
