There's plenty of holsters out on the market that are closed. I have a few of them and never once has anything found its way in there in the 12+ years I've been carrying. Mainly due to the fact that the guns fit so tight inside of them there isn't much room for anything else. Also if you're not visually inspecting your equipment every day when you put it on well then you're just asking for something bad to happen.
