That gearing sounds just like my Evo. Evo sits at 4k rpms right around 85mph in 5th (no 6th here). Yet the best I can pull is roughly 24-25mpg when measured at the pump, so 28-30 would be very nice although roughly a 60 mile per tank difference. Hmm.

haha yea you would think clubrsx would be filled with people blowing smoke and glitter up your ass but believe me, there are more people that hate the rsx than you may think lol.
Tons of pretentious asses on there that give people so much crap for enjoying their cars.... its ridiculous lol.
The car has it's shortcomings for sure, but I'm completely happy with it. Especially now that I'm CAI/E/RH/RBC and K-pro Magnesium tuned
The tranny is by far the weakest part of the car but for someone like you who won't try to flatshift around every bend like some ***** ricer it will be just fine.
