my car hates me. im not sure what to check next..
a little less than a year...or maybe close to a year, i hit a HUGE and i mean HUGE pothole on route 1 going into jersey, bent my wheel, flattened my tire...blah, so i got a new tire...fixed the wheel..and went on my way...i cant remember if after all of that, if i had a shake or not.
for my birthday last february, Rich got me new wheels...i put them on like 5 months later once i had money, and the shop i got them on at, i thought did a bad job at balancing them...but it was too late to take them back to have em re-balanced, so i just carried on driving with a small shake, mainly from the side i hit the pot hole on.
its been like 6 months i guess, and the shake, i feel has progressivly gotten worse...so i was started to get fed up with it, so i today at 11:30 i went to sears, they have lifetime guarantee when u get your wheels balanced, so i was like ok, so they'll help me out. take it there, get them balanced..pay, and i go on my way...
i get onto 95 to head home but also check out how it handles and whatnot...and at 45mph...and 70mph and over i still have a shake, it felt worse than before, so i turn around, park, go in and tell the guy that just did it that its still happening, if not a little worse...so he takes it back in...rebalances them, new & different weights put on..everything..they come out fine...he tells me to go test the car and see how it does, and offers to come with me...im not that trusting so i have him stay there since its just me...i take it on 95 ...still a shake...go back tell him...and all he can say is that the balance is perfect..it might be my suspension?
i really dont have money to fix things....
