I for one think that old people are cool as hell. They lived thru far more than we ever did, have a true sense of responsibility, respect, and patriotism; all things that this generation lack (which you proved in writing a couple of pages back!).
Maybe this doesn't apply to everyone, but I for one was excited when my grandfather who is in his 80's got to meet my son this fall, how ****ing cool is it that he had to opportunity to meet his first great grandson and first great granddaughter (my brothers). If you die young, you wouldn't get to experience that.
Again I realize that this particular experience doesn't apply to people without kids, but still, it's ****ing cool as hell if you ask me!
I hope I live long enough to meet my grandkids and may be even one day a great grandkid.......
