You'd be surprised (I think atleast) how many tuners use handhelds to to do custom tunes on these types of platforms. We did a fully built and supercharged late model mustang and had all the tuning done on a SCT tuner. Car made over 700whp on pump gas. It's a hell of a lot cheaper than doing something like a FAST or Big Stuff 3 especially if there isn't open source tuning available for the platform. Not sure what's available in terms of software for the Mopar platform honestly.
