You have another option: Don't get Comcast. I used to be an engineer for them 2004-2008 in that area(area 4) and you WILL get random disconnects in the middle of the day for hours at a time. Clearwire has transmitters on those transmission towers near the top of Shawmont Avenue and you'd get some decent speeds down. As for FIOS, they are done deploying new areas. They managed to break into a small swath of Northeast Philly near the Airport towards Bensalem and just stopped.
