i'm really just trying to build a fun, nasty, more or less reliable street car and i wouldn't mind paying the extra money for the torque and spool with the extra 400cc's on an h22. i'm not really concerned with the actual dyno power, but it would be nice to hit 500.
a gsr is still in consideration though, that was my original plan. i used to hate on the h22 a lot, i'm coming from a k20 EK and an ep3 so i'm partial to the k series and i've also had a b20vtec... but the more i look into the h22 the more i want to boost one just for the crazy torque. who knows, i'll probably sleeve whatever motor i end up getting because the car is my dd and needs to stay together. the cost of a gsr long block + trans + mounts isn't that much cheaper than an h22 and a QSD h2b kit.
