He is correct in saying the VQ is old hat. It is 16 years old. I believe that the peak has been reached currently with the GTR. If Nissan follows the same path with the VQ as the VG, its time is limited. The VG had a 23 year run. The VQ is in its 16th year currently. There is not much room left for improvement. Maybe a 3.8 with direct injection...IDK, but its days are numbered.
