yea, iPhoto is nothing like Lr, but you can do some pretty basic stuff.
check out the 3 pics i posted in the random picture thread, on the last page, i just messed with these for a about a minute each in iPhoto and it made them a bit more interesting then straight out of the camera. minus the first one, which i desaturated in Ps. but you get the idea
