The 14b housing is 6cm and will work. It's actually what I'm running right now. The spool with it on a 16g is nice, but it's starting to choke my top end. I'm looking for a 7cm housing now if I can find one.
I'd come pick a 14b housing up just to run for now but it's not worth the cost of gas to drive to your place and back. If I had a little more money and was interested in a few more parts I'd make the drive.
