why don't you mount it somewhere. this way it's not contacting metal and shorting out everytime you try and push it? and if it's coming loose, mounting it somewhere will prevent the wires coming loose from the switch. just drill a small hole in your dash plastic piece someplace, and put the toggle switch in the hole, then screw on the nut, simple as that. your not supposed to have it loose anywhere.
