I originally thought we'd get a little more punch when starting out from a light etc. (with the k&n) I was disappointed until she told me her avg. fuel economy had increased.
Then we compared the notes (yes, she keeps notes

) from before the filter & synthetic changeover.
The only other possible scenario is that the car was still breaking in..... We did the filter & oil a week apart at around 4500 miles. First oil change on the new car.
