As far as a vet, they aren't too much different then a normal cat. Don't declaw, you MUST get them fixed for they will be a PITA, can only have gas to knock them out for surgery, and a ultra high protein diet so none of the cheap catfood. We buy Blue Wilderness brand.
I'll check the site out in a bit. I have a 10:00 appointment to show a used 08 WRX (224 HP Bleh )
I'd never declaw ANY cat, I keep my pets stock, the exception is getting them fixed of course. Our guys are indoor cats, but a quick escape could mean a litter of unknown or worse unwanted kitties. Not cool.
My tabby, Ricky is almost 12 years old & still going strong. When the inevitable happens, we'll most likely be getting a Savannah or Bengal kitten.
Unless they have an all black hybrid by then. The wife wants a real black cat. (She collects them, stuffed, ceramic, etc...) I'm not sure if a panther hybrid is in the works or if they already exist. Any idea?
The other question I'll ask you & the breeder at that site, is how do hybrid kittens get along with domestics that are grown? Jens cat, Jeffy, is about 6 yeas old.... by the time we're down to one cat he could be pretty old himself.
Thanks for the help with this. It's good to know someone who has direct experience with hybrid felines. Youtube vids are fun to watch, but not very informative.
