LOL, woah there, I liked the first reply better. I didn't starve myself at all, I always ate whenever I was hungry. I still ate pizza occasionally, still went out occasionally, still had desserts, just in moderation. Hell, I had a cupcake earlier today and some ice cream after dinner, but the goal over the last 8 months was to eat for nutrition and not empty calories. Instead of eating a bag of chips I ate a banana or some nuts, something that would fill me up and actually do something for me.
I struggled with being overweight my whole life, now I'm 27 and I weigh less than I did in high school. I had no nutritional value growing up, my parents rarely cooked meals at home, and it stuck with me through college and when I traveled so much for work. When I realized last October how bad my vitals had gotten (my blood pressure was up to 151/89) I decided it was time to make a change. I was never on a diet, I just made a lifestyle change to be a healthier person.
