Figure 8 was the only spot i had trouble with during my test. During practice, no problem. Test day, i put my foot down once. Its definitely an easy course.. nobody who behaves themselves should ever fail it.
I had an 80 something year old guy in my class with his 17yr old grandson. Grandsons first bike was a gixxer 1000. (theres a great idea). Old dude was so senile, theres NO WAY he shouldve passed, but did. For the braking test, where you accel to a certain speed, pass the line, and have to brake... he never even touched his brakes. Sailed right through. Guess it wasnt enough points to fail him, but if i were that instructor I couldnt in good conscience let him operate a motorcycle on the open road. I was literally dumbfounded when the instructor said everyone in the class passed.
Saw the kid a few months later on his gixxer... it had been down on both sides. No suprises there.
