The only thing you got mixed up is the aperture info. Aperture is technically a fraction system, so 1/22, 1/16...1/2.8 etc. So it's actually opposite of what you said. The bigger the number (ie 1/2.8 for f2.8, a larger fraction) the larger the opening, and the smaller the number (ie 1/22 for f22) the smaller the opening.
