I'm only speaking for myself but people who open carry, to me, are not doing it as a cry for attention. Maybe some people are pushing for acceptance rather than being singled out.

There was something going around about a gun meet...swell. Smaller scaled event...swell.
This is the biggest event of the year, police will be present, as well as over 1000 guests, many of whom don't know each other. Maybe it's better to "take one for the team" and not turn what should be a charity event into a gun show, I can almost guarantee that when a cop sees people OCing, they will come over and start asking for permits. Does the meet really need that kind of attention? Up to you guys. I'd just hate to see Bryan's and other people's hard work into planning this event go down the drain because people want to make it a "yes i can" argument...but I've been saying this for a while now and people don't listen so I'm pretty much not gonna talk about it anymore.

There's exceptions to everything, truly sorry if I offended you.
