Just finished a set of those. They were pretty good. I bought them used with a set of wheels so I can't say anything about tread life, but as they got worn I could definitely feel the grip going away. Just put on a set of Falken Aznenis RT-615's, I must say they are worlds better, I'm never going back all-seasons on the Miata.
Also, when I got the car it only had 3 hubcentric rings with the 16's that came with it. When I bought my 15" Konig Minuz they didn't come with rings, so I'm not running any right now. I don't
feel any problem with them.
