Have a question for the more knowledgeble about tire sizes.
Right now with the BBS and 205 50 16 tires I am at 11" hub to fender on all 4 corners.
I will be running a 205 40 16 on the next set (16x8)
According to the Miata.net tire size calculator:
BBS Setup - 24.1" diameter
XXR Setup - 22.5" diameter
That leaves them 1.6 inches smaller all around, or .8 inch on the radius. Does that mean my car is going to drop that extra .8 from going to a smaller sidewall? If not, how much.
