I dunno... I cheaped out and bought a catback for my gs off ebay when mine rotted out and practically fell off the car. It was cheaper than going oem and faster than finding one in a junkyard. I really cant complain about it whatsoever. It looks alright and doesnt sound like a bucket of rice or your neighbors weed whacker. Your friend was most likely talking about the size of the exhaust tip. The piping is/should be wayyy smaller in diameter and if it isnt then well...
