Grimm i was joking with you. When i was younger i had the same question when i worked on US cars. Some were standard others were metric. The owner of the shop told me to check the assembley point on the car. The US built cars were standard while the Mexico and Canada built cars were metric. The mustang might be built here so it doesnt help explain why there are metric bolts.
