They're events that the BMW crowd likes. Basically a group goes to a real track like NJMSP or watkins glen and everyone goes around the track (a lot) with a race instructor. There are rules though like you must indicate that you want to pass and the person has to indicate that they saw you wanting to pass and that you may pass. It's basically the closest thing to real racing for people who don't want to bitch up their $60,000 M3's and $40,000 335's.
