Those would be your spring rates. The amount of force it takes to compress your spring. Higher spring rate = stiffer ride. The standard BC's for the WRX come with 8k / 6k, pretty close to what you're getting for your mustang. BC lets you choose your spring rates when you purchase the coilovers so I opted for the next step up since its a weekender.
