How can you say that steroid use doesn't affect your ability to hit the ball. There are so many examples of steroid users in baseball that its not even funny. The most obvious to me is the whole McGwire, Sosa, Griffy time period. Those 3 were neck and neck in the home run game, which is at the same time the whole steroids in baseball ordeal exploded. Its obvious that Sosa was a steroid user, we know that, but what happened to McGwire and Griffy? After the big controversy, they both went back to being mediocre players. Ken Griffy Jr was a household name, and very shortly after, he became a no name once again. They weren't hitting homerun's left and right because they are pull hitters, they were hitting home runs because they were on the juice! Than the media caught on, and they got scared, and went back to hitting pop fly's.
