As soon as you can get the crank free you can pull out the pistons/rods. To get the crank loose you need the timing cover off (which requires the crank pulley to come off) the rear main seal off, and the girdle off (just a few bolts). After that you can pull the crank out with the pistons/rods attached if you want. Since the engine is never going to run again you don't need to be very careful so feel free to use some force on it but watch out for edges, they can be a lot sharper than they look.
edit: Nearly everything will require some force to pop off just like the intake manifold did but if it feels like it's still got a bolt in it chances are you missed one.
