it's a fwd car, but my problem is theres a decent amount of torque to the front wheels (think its 190 fpt with 220 hp) so traction is sometimes a problem unless I'm in the lower gears. I called up etc and asked about the blizzak w-60 in the 215/60/16 and he said that they are a low production model for the size so he offered me 205/65/16 saying that the thinner tire and wider walls would offer me the best traction and decided to knock 5 dollars off per tire leaving it 140 a tire installed and balanced. I think I may just go with that, considering the high reviews on the tires and my 45 minute drive home up 6-7 steep inclines and declines.

i just cannot believe how horrific the yokohama's were, I honestly thought it was my driving but when I'm only going 10-25 mph on a straight road and I have trouble getting traction when I'm barely gassing it, then I know it wasn't me. knocked my fog light mount off trying to avoid the tree when i rolled over a stump but thank god I avoided the tree all together.

was the etd guy right in saying that the thinner the tire, the better handling in the snow? (i dont care much for the look, since it will be thinner i know itll look less low profile than the wider and smaller walled yokohama but i'd much prefer traction and confidence in the snow over a ....ooh look, pretty tires....comment while im stuck in a snow bank in a week.)
