Well if they keep coming on and off chances are it's a ballast (more common problem). Let them heat up and then tap on the headlights and on the ballasts one at a time to see if its causes them to flicker or shut off. If nothing happens move the wiring around and re-plug all the connectors.

We have HIDs if you need a replacement.
