Its a good first car there's no need to go an buy a Z28 first. Learn to get the feel for something rwd that drives like a boat an then when you feel Comfortable then start to open your options with it or buy a Z28/SS. I did the same thing my camaro was a 305 which had less power then most the V6's in the later years an then after i felt that i was cool with it an I wasn't going to be pulling anymore accidentall donuts or let the rear swing out on me I then picked up a crate motor then your on your way to having fun. The skys the limit there i've been threw i think 3 motors so far upgrading for more power haha.
