Looks like a case of people not being able to handle the truth or not wanting too. I've been there, for like the past 2 years, and believe me its probably the worst feeling ever. I feel for this Jess girl and everybody just needs to listen to what the authorities tell them for if there's something wrong with the story, they will be the first ones to know. It's their job.
