That sucks, I've had my WRX for 100k miles and never once had a problem. I'm even on the same clutch and plugs from day 1. (I should definitely replace both though

Thanks for the compliment, much appreciated. I've been tempted to paint the CF hood and lip for a while now, but it's the only thing that really makes my car stand out (good or bad) from the other subarus around the area. Looks mean & aggressive from the front, not sure I like how it looks from the side though.
