Basically here is what happened during the boost leak test.
I installed the tester on the intake right after the MAF sensor, pre-turbo
I removed the other end of the intake where it comes into the TB and plugged the pipe, TB was left open.
The idea was to pressurize the piping from the intake to the throttle body including all of the intake/charge pipes, fmic and couplers, etc.
Started putting air into the system, heard what I think was oil bubbling in the oil pan (weird)
Around 5psi, I started to feel air coming back out of the throttle body (wtf, hows it getting into the engine)
At 12psi, oil starts to seep out of the oil cap slowly and slightly, running down the valve cover (I've never seen oil there before or traces of it after driving under hard boost before)
Needless to say the boost leak test was unsucessful, I thought about plugging the throttle body pipe back up but my friend who was helping me said that in that case it would possibly cause a closed circuit and then lead to damaging the valves because there would be compressed air in the head.
No idea what we did wrong, or what my car is doing.

Says this: Remove the BOV return hose and PCV valve hose.
Wouldn't that cause a vaccum leak on it's own?
