I brought my car in broken, what happened if the guy test driving it went for a long trip to do work errands and the car broke down? Or if it got in an accident miles away from the shop? If I didn't stop by, I wouldn't have even known what they did with my car, but I'm sorry, a nearly 1.5 hour "test drive" of my car to replace my fuel filter is unacceptable in my book.
