Its a crappy situation, but think of it from a cops point of view. They were at a bar, they left(probally even legally drunk), went to another bar. Got into an altercation with some other people who were drinking. Someone got hurt. At best, they have your statement of what happened. I'm sure there is more to the story then has been told also. You think the cops really care?
This is the crap that happens when you drink and are arround other drunk people. I wish her the best of luck, but don't waste your time with it and move on.
