alot people are afraid of them.
unfourtantly, most of the american breed german shepards are ill tempered.
the on i had, my family got when my father was stationed in germany. big dog too, just shy of 100 pounds. and was calm too. Even the vet said he'd never seen a german shepard so calm and nice. usually they have to muzzle them when they give them shots or do anything.
i really do miss him. Died at 12 years old. We had to put him down, back legs were paralzyed from hip dysplaca (or however you spell it) and we think he had a stroke too.
