I am not hard to please, but there weren't many cars in the car show. Yes some of the cars were well built, I guess I'm tired of seeing the same cars at shows lol. Trailer queens don't impress me. You don't think there are tight circuits in Japan? I've ran my car on e-town, and it is a bit narrow in some sections.

JDMuscle, I heard the MC say that, but I didn't hear what you said lol.....that's hilarious. I was over in the half ass VIP section. I was so disappointed with the event as a whole I wrote a complaint to D1....not really expecting a response though.
The way they had the car show setup was pretty wack, I expected it to be in the lot where you enter at by the white shack since it was a D1 event. I did expect something more on a better level. I spoke to a couple of drivers and they only had 20 minutes each to get runs on the track with some having new setups wasn't enough track time to get used to the cars.

I paid 30 bucks to "stand" and i ended up sitting on the bleachers anyway.

I couldnt tell what was so good about the VIP section... looked just like where i was sitting at.

PM me where you can write complaints, I have like 50 people from Driftpa that all want their money back
Yeah ViP seating and over zealous security guards is wack. I tried to get a beer and because I didnt have a yellow band I couldnt get in but I had a purple and pink but guess that was useless. I walked over to the ViP and took 2 beers out to the track with me

The event as a whole was a complete joke. Anyone who has gone to any professional event would have felt the same. Honestly, it felt like some local track day, not a professional series. The MC was annoying and terrible. The "VIP" was a joke and a waste of money. I think the better seats were the cheaper seats to be honest. The judges seem more worried about ending the event then anything else (no one more times). The car show small, you would think at D1 there would be a lot more cars.

I have never been to a D1 event before, but I have been to other events (Hyperfest, SCCA, NASA races etc...) and they were much more professional then what happend at e-town.

I went with McVicker, and a bunch of other people who all felt the same, and after watching the dvd of e-twon in 2005, I was complete disbelief. 2005 was on a completely different level of an event, and it was only an exhibition!!! I felt cheated out of my money.
I think E-town was over booked and D1 made due with what they had available. They had to end the event because there is a 10pm limit at E-Town and cars have to be off the track. This is good info from you guys because basically I am planning on calling D1 and writing a formal email so when they come back next year we can have a better event. I enjoyed the driving for the most part at this event over Formula D. I think the drivers did good with the time they had and the horrible lighting they had to deal with. Friday nights practice they only had 4 -6 light stands out there and more were bought over Saturday morning. I really couldn't hear the MC from the track but I guess it must of been real bad.
