It helped on upshifting but downshifting is non existant and makes me want to kill myself... even when I'm stopped I have trouble putting it into gear. Who knows. The pushrod is definatly not in good condition so I'm going to try that first.
When the cable stretched on my Honda, I felt that the gears engaged rough. I just double clutched until I got it fixed.

Julz, if you like the car, get a PPI(pre-purchase inspection). That way, you know what you're up against. Don't be like me and buy a car, and then replace half of the car in two months.
