Actually CN, on the NA miata is does make a large difference. The NB, especially the MSM has more underbody bracing then the NA does. When you put a proper rollbar into any miata;especially an NA, it helps stiffen the chassis. It ties in the whole back half of the car. NAs are known to get "cowl shake" at around 62-67mph, and a good 4 point rollbar can decrease this by a great amount making it almost unnoticeable. Its kind of like if you've ever driven a convertible with a softtop, then driven it again with a hardtop. There is a huge difference there, and how "solid" the car feels. Im sure if you ask on M.net you can get a whole 3 pages of answers of how a rollbar changes are cars.
