the more seeders versus leechers the better....so 100 seeders and 10 leechers is going to download faster then 100 seeders and 60 leechers...if thats not your problem then it may be hit or miss, or maybe out of 100 seeders you are downloading for 24 of them and then 7 of them go offline or stop seeding the torrent that will slow your download rate until you connect to more seeders.

Cam- bootleg video camera action usually the poorest quality a/v
TS(telesync)- filmed with a better camera usually from the projection booth and with an audio jack interface, better then CAM but not by much
dvdrip- usually a ripped copy of a dvd or a early release screener
