aside from it being completely pointless, it's a dumb idea. does that even make sense? ehh, i dunno...

putting the B20 in your 'lude is going to be a lot of work and custom parts. it would literally be the exact opposite as my swap. i had B series everything in my GSR, then had to buy conversion shift linkage, axles, mounts, exhaust, and a few other parts from the prelude to make my H22A work. you'd be replacing the same things, except the difference is that no one makes conversion stuff to go from an H series to a B series whereas i just went online and bought my conversion parts. if you were dead set on using a certain B series motor in order to make the car lighter for autocross or road racing, then you might be able to justify spending the money on the custom work. if not then a B20 is about as useless to you as a poopy flavored lolipop.

call around to junkyards and see if anyone has an H23 for you to just replace your stock motor. i would guess a longblock should go for no more than $500. get it without the accessories and intake/exhaust manifold and you'd probably pay much less. hell i've seen three full H23 swaps in my local u-pull-it junkyard myself.

even if you wanted to go all out, you could get a JDM H22A into your car for probably no more than $900. if you wanted the H22A trans, expect to pay about $1700 total from an importer. the prices have gone down now, i payed $2000 for my full H22A swap almost two years ago.
