I had a ticket over a year ago, was found guilty, and appealed it. I turned everything over to my lawyer, who failed to get the second extension to keep my license while it was on appeal. My license got suspended, however, I never physically turned in my license.
I had a court date the other day and the ticket was dismissed. I was handed a piece of paper that had the charge "amendment". The Norristown district court said that their computers were "down", and they wouldn't be able to send the paper work out to harrisburg for another couple weeks

. After that, we all know how long harrisburg takes.
My question is, say I have my license...and I have that copy of the "official amendment" paper work; If I were to get pulled over, would "most" cops let me go, even if it's to just drive back home?? OBviously if I were to get the ticket, I would just fight and win in court, but I don't even feel like dealing with that hassle. Will an officer recognize this to be accepted?
Thanks,
Steve
