Well, unfortunately I didn't have much of a choice in the matter when I lost my non-dominate arm.
To be honest I have thought about this question a lot, and after getting to know some lower extremity amputees I'd prefer my situation. Being able to be instantly mobile in a fire for instance is pretty important. Although I do painfully miss driving manual. But hey, if my arm wasn't carbon fiber Ryan couldn't give me cool tattoos.
