You can get awesome stuff made and sold in america. I wont deny that. Theres tons of aftermarket support here for import cars. BUT there is stuff in Japan you just cant get here. Certain mirrors, kips, widebodys, wheels, rollbars..there is a long list. The reason that I like JDM parts is because its rare. You wont see my front lip EVER. What you will see is ebay body kits that knock off JDM bodykits, because people are to broke to buy the real part. You get civic owners buying knockoff parts and trying to pass them off as JDM. I like having something that is rare here, not that im going to see at a redlight next to me. Sure you can get nice usdm parts....but you can get awesome JDM parts that CAN'T be duplicated. You dont have to like the jdm thing, just dont knock it.
