The plans right now are a short shifter that's waiting at the mazda dealership and possibly 6000k HID's in the near future. I want to lower it on eibach pro kit springs and probably get some eibach sway bars too. Other than a few chassis/strut braces and possibly an aftermarket rear motor mount it will stay stock.
There's no sense in trying to make it fast. The 2.3 isn't underpowered for the car anyway. Passing is easy and it never really lacks power during daily driving. I would have bought a MS3 if I wanted gobs of power. I just want it to handle like it is on rails and get a steady 28+ mpg.
