Anyway, looks pretty solid for a first run... if you can incorporate a background next time to some degree I think that'd be a good step forward. You'll have to blend the flash with ambient to pull that off (exposure and color balance).

I'll have to try using strobes again, maybe some time when there is ambient light. Was mabye 7pm when I shot these.
I still don't understand how the shutter speed effects flash brightness and the aperture effects ambient light. Probably got that mixed up or wrong all together or something. I'll have to do some reading up soon.
