If I slammed on the brakes then maybe just maybe I would have had some fault in an accident, but good luck I'd say 98% of the time in a rear end accident the person following is automatically at fault. Trust me I got screwed on a rear-end accident that wasn't my fault and the bitch somehow got a new minivan trunk door when I rear-ended her at 5mph in a bmw 328i. Unless my car had wings I'm pretty sure I didn't put a huge dent in her trunk door, and there was no damage at the time of the accident...but her insurance company blamed me. I lose. Fail.

what if you piss these people off with your "vigilante" moves and they do something crazy. lets say pass on the shoulder and cause an accident or something else wild. is it really worth it? grow up let them pass and call the cops.
