While hiding your MBC might get passed tech for an event or two, someone will notice and you will be forever looked at as a "cheat." I don't recommend it.
Even if you left it in plain sight, it might get "overlooked" but that won't fly for more than event or two, and even then you really are only cheating yourself if you are serious about the sport. Again, I don't recommend it.
