It is not as easy as you are making it seem. We have been trying for quite a while to get COTM running smoothly but we have been constantly running in to trouble.

Not only do we need to select a car, we also need to coordinate throughout many busy schedules to find when and where to shoot the car, and also find the time to conduct the interview and have it all ready for the website within the time frame of a month or so.

That may not seem too difficult, but with all modified cars, something is bound to break at some point. There is nothing more frustrating than having a car set for shooting a week before COTM is supposed to change only to have their car break. Also, potential COTM's have bailed last minute, leaving the media team scrambling to find a new ride. Then if it rains on the day of a scheduled shoot we are stuck with at least two people with full-time schedules trying to find another day to meet up.

It is impossible? Not at all, but coordinating things has been tough for the media team recently due to issues that do not need to be brought up here, and although we are working on it you may not see COTM back up for a little while.
